This aligns with many companies’ sustainability objectives, enabling and/or expanding their greener supply chain practices. In addition, Hollow Pins are lightweight, weighing less than solid pins. A swaged Hollow Pin can weigh up to 50% less than its solid equivalent, a great advantage in applications where every ounce matters.

About Bead's Sustainable Swaging Process
During swaging, a continuous metal strip is pulled through a precision-engineered draw die to form a seamed tube. Tube diameters are then reduced in progressive forming cavities and then separated from the tube. Because we are moving metal instead of machining it away, we eliminate scrap entirely - a significant advantage for eco-conscious manufacturing. Our fully-automated swaging process enables high volume, precision production while minimizing waste and human error.
