Cost-Effective

We offer an economical alternative to the high cost of machined components and the long lead-time and expensive tooling for custom stampings. Our hollow pins (also called tubular) use less materials than mechanical pins, making them lighter and more cost-effective for our customers.

Sample Applications

Mechanical Stop Pin
This simple, functional, and elegant low cost solution is a .0400" black oxide brass stop pin, mechanically staked to the back of the display panel.
Connector Guide Pin
A cost effective and lightweight .1450" alignment pin. This stainless steel tubular pin is press fit into the connector body thanks to the feature at the end of the pin. Bead leverages a scrape-less process to provide a cost effective component that is lighter and uses less material.
Hollow Pins used as Hinge Pins
These .02250 pins use less material and are thus more cost effective. In this application they are used like a rivet, mechanically attached to the sheet metal, allowing it to act like a hinge pin. Louvers on air handlers are installed on these pins and can be adjusted as needed.
Solid Wire Pins
Solid wire pins can be used as a mechanical stand off as well as an electrical contact pin. In this application our customer uses this .0400 square wire pin as a mechanical stand off between the PCBA and their enclosure.
