Bead Electronics Awarded Grant to Improve Swaging Dies

Bead Electronics was recently awarded a $75,000 grant through the State of Connecticut's Manufacturing Technical Assistance Program (MTAP) to help develop a more efficient method for producing swaging dies. The work will be conducted in collaboration with the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), and the success of the program will make Bead more competitive and help us win new business for the future.

Bead Electronics Mourns Sandy Hook Elementary

At 9:30 this morning, Bead Electronics held a company wide moment of silence for the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary. This "Day of Mourning" declared by Connecticut Governer, Dannel P. Malloy, involved a statewide participation by all residents and businesses in Connecticut.

Using an automated solution for inspection allows us to verify the diameter, thickness, and length of each and every connector pin produced, as opposed to just a handful done manually using micrometers.
